West Pottsgrove Township Tax Collection

In-person collection hours for the "Discount" period ending on August 31st, 2025, will be as follows –

Tuesdays - 4:00 pm-6:00 pm
Thursdays - 4:00 pm-6:00 pm
Additional hours - Wednesday July 16 & 30 - 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Additional hours - Saturday August 23 & 30 - 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

There is a secure locked collection box located inside the atrium at the Township Building which is available for collection 24 hours a day. It is located on the wall to the right of the entrance to the administrative office.

This is a rare and valuable opportunity for our firefighters to train in a realistic environment, allowing them to enhance their skills and readiness for actual emergency situations.

Please be advised: If you see smoke or increased fire department activity in the area during this time, there is no cause for alarm—this is part of the scheduled training.

ReadyMontco - Upper Dublin Alert

The Upper Dublin Township Building is without power and is closed to the public and staff today, Friday, June 20th. If you have an emergency, please call 911.

The Upper Dublin Public Library is without power and is closed until 1:00pm. Building status will be reevaluated at noon. The closure may be extended.

Upper Dublin Parks & Recreation camps are open and operational as planned. Parks are also open, but we ask that you use caution at all parks - the Parks division is assessing damage. It is recommended that trails with trees are avoided until the Parks staff is able to assess tree damage.

Trash and recycling in area D will be collected today. There are some roads blocked and inaccessible. The Sanitation crews will do all that they can to collect what they can.

The leaf site at 1128 Camphill Road is open today until 2pm and will be open on Saturday, June 21st from 8am-12pm for yard waste drop off.

Resurfacing Operations Planned Next Week on Several State Highways in Philadelphia, Montgomery Counties

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that resurfacing operations are planned next week on several state highways in Philadelphia and Montgomery counties.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

• Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on Arch Street between Front Street and 15th Street in Philadelphia, for milling and other construction activities.
• Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Cross Road between Route 73 (Skippack Pike) and Route 113 (Harleysville Pike) in Skippack and Upper Salford townships, Montgomery County, for milling and paving.
• Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Grosstown Road between High Street and Berks Street in West Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County, for milling, paving, and utility construction.
• Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Linfield Trappe Road between Township Line Road and Main Street in Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, for milling, paving, and utility construction.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.

ReadyMontco - West Pottsgrove Alert

Old Timer's Field (behind the Township building) - the baseball field and surrounding areas will be closed for construction beginning June 9, 2025, and through August to allow for construction improvements. This project is being funded by various grants awarded to the Township by the following agencies -

Pottstown Metropolitan Regional Planning Commission (PMRPC)

William & Dorothy Yeck Family Foundation

Montgomery County 2040

Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation (PAHWF)

PA Department of Conservation & Natural Resources (DCNR)

Improvements include field drainage, new LED sports lighting, new fencing, updated ADA field & parking accessibility, stormwater collection and various other amenities.

Access to the basketball court, pavilion, and playground areas will remain open.

We appreciate your cooperation during this time and anticipate the field being ready for play in the fall of 2025.
