Base Repair to Close Pawlings Road in Chester, Montgomery Counties
King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that base repair operations are scheduled on Pawlings Road in Schuylkill Township, Chester County and Lower Providence Township, Montgomery County, beginning Thursday, October 2.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.

Due to several downed powerlines near Airport Square, Montgomery Township is experiencing significant outages. Traffic signals at the intersections of North Wales Road and Knapp Road and North Wales Road and Welsh Road (Route 63) are down and currently operating with one stop sign-controlled lane in each direction. Please avoid the area and use caution if passing through.
Residents may also be experiencing outages in their homes. A PECO information phone number will be provided when available.
The duration of the incident is dependent on PECO's ability to repair the lines.
