The Borough of Rockledge has declared a snow emergency beginning at 6 am Wednesday, February 20, 2019 and will remain in effect until 12 noon on Thursday, February 21, 2019.
Residents are asked to remove their vehicles from the roadways to allow for uninterrupted snow removal and treatment.
Snow Emergency Routes
Parked or unattended vehicles are prohibited on Snow Emergency Routes. Vehicles on Snow Emergency Routes must have snow tires or chains. Vehicles left parked or abandoned will be towed and impounded at owner's expense.

Borough Ordinances require owners or occupants to have snow and ice removed from sidewalks within 24 hours after the snow has stopped. It is unlawful to push or place snow removed from private property onto public streets.

Abington Snow Emergency effective 6 a.m. Wednesday
Abington Township has declared a Snow Emergency effective at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 until 6 a.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2019. During this time parking on designated Snow Emergency Routes is prohibited to allow our plow operators to clear the streets in a safe and efficient manner. Cars parked on Snow Emergency Routes after 6 a.m. may be towed and impounded at the owner's expense. Residents are also reminded to please clear your sidewalks of ice and snow within 24 hours of the end of the storm. If you have a fire hydrant on or near your property, please clear that as well. Attached please find a list of the Snow Emergency Routes located in Abington as well as the pertinent snow removal ordinances, or go to www.abingtonpd.org if you are viewing this message on a mobile device.
The National Weather Service has indicated that there is a potential for power outages with this storm. If you lose power, please report the outage directly to PECO at 1-800-841-4141. For your safety, please do not attempt to pick up or move any downed wires or move/drive around barricades.

Bristol Road to Close Next Week for Pipe Repair in Bensalem Township, Bucks County
King of Prussia, PA – Bristol Road is scheduled to close on Monday, February 18, and Tuesday, February 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM between Spruce Avenue and U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, for pipe repair, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During the closure, Bristol Road motorists will be detoured over U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway), Route 132 (Street Road), and Route 213 (Bridgetown Pike). Local access will be maintained up to the closure.
