Nighttime Lane Restrictions Scheduled on I-95 for Bridge Repairs

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
nighttime lane restrictions are scheduled on Interstate 95 in Bucks and
Delaware counties for bridge joint sealing.
The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:
• On Monday, January 4, through Friday, January 8, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM,
one
lane will be closed on I-95 south and north between Route 132 (Street Road)
and
Route 413 in Bristol Township; and
• On Monday, January 4, through Friday, January 8, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM,
one
lane will be closed on I-95 south between Route 291 and Route 420
(Wanamaker
Avenue) in Tinicum Township, Delaware County.
Motorists are advised to allow additional time for travel on I-95 during
the
nighttime operations, which are part of PennDOT's project to repair bridge
decks and seal joints to preserve and maintain the structures.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.
