Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect until 6:00pm Tuesday for the Delaware River. Do not drive through flooded roads.
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a coastal Flood Advisory... which is in effect until 6 PM EST Tuesday.
* Location... the tidal sections of the Delaware River... including Marcus Hook and Philadelphia.
* Coastal flooding... minor flooding is possible around the time of high tide just after midnight tonight and especially during the time of high tide early Tuesday afternoon.
* Timing... high tide occurs generally around 2 am Tuesday morning and again around 2 PM Tuesday afternoon.
* Impacts... nuisance flooding is possible with tonight's high tide and minor street flooding is possible with the high tide on Tuesday.

A coastal Flood Advisory means that minor tidal flooding is expected. Minor tidal flooding often results in some Road closures. Usually... the most vulnerable roadways will flood.
Do not leave your vehicle at a location that is prone to tidal flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters. The water may be deeper than you think it is. You will be putting yourself in danger and your vehicle may be damaged... leading to costly repairs.
