Lane Restrictions Scheduled on I-95 and U.S. 322 Next Week for Pothole
Repairs

Lane restrictions are scheduled on Interstate 95 and U.S. 322 in Delaware
County next week for pothole repairs, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
The work schedule is:
• On Tuesday, April 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, intermittent lane closures
are
scheduled on U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway) between Baltimore Pike and I-95
in
Concord, Bethel and Upper Chichester townships. Crews will work in both
directions;
• On Wednesday, April 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, intermittent lane
closures
are scheduled on I-95 south between the Philadelphia city line and the
Delaware
state line in Tinicum, Ridley, Chester, Upper Chichester, Lower Chichester
townships; City of Chester and Upland Borough; and
• On Thursday, April 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, intermittent lane
closures
are scheduled on I-95 north between the Delaware state line and the
Philadelphia city line in Upland Borough, City of Chester, Lower
Chichester,
Upper Chichester, Chester, Ridley, and Tinicum townships.
Weather permitting, PennDOT is working daily to repair potholes on state
highways throughout the five-county Philadelphia region. Crews have placed
nearly 3,700 tons of patching material on state roads in the region since
December 1, 2015.
Motorists are reminded that they can report potholes and other roadway
concerns
on state roads by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.dot.state.pa.us
and
clicking on "Submit Roadway Feedback."
Once notified, PennDOT will work expeditiously to address roadway concerns
as
weather permits.
The 1-800-FIX-ROAD number should not be used to report traffic accidents,
disabled vehicles, or other emergencies. Motorists should continue to call
911
to report those types of incidents.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.
511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and
Android
devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts
accessible
on the 511PA website.
