Lane Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Route 611 (Easton Road) in Bucks
County for Sign Installations

Lane restrictions are scheduled on northbound and southbound Route 611
(Easton
Road) in Doylestown Borough and Doylestown and Plumstead townships, Buck
County, on Monday, May 16, through Friday, May 20, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM,
for
overhead sign installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
(PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:
•Lane restrictions are scheduled on northbound Route 611 (Easton Road)
between
U.S. 202 and Broad Street; and
•Lane restrictions are scheduled on southbound Route 611 (Easton Road)
between
Ferry Road and U.S. 202.
PennDOT advises drivers to allow additional time for travel on Route 611
(Easton Road) near the work areas because backups will occur.
The work is part of an $860,000 project to replace large roadside signs
across
the five-county region.
Kuharchik Construction, Inc. of Exeter, Pa. is the general contractor on
the
project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
