I-76 East Lane Closure Tonight in Philadelphia for Pavement and Joint

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
travel restrictions are scheduled tonight, June 2, on eastbound Interstate
76
between South Street and 28th Street in Philadelphia for pavement and joint

repairs.

During the operation, eastbound I-76 will be reduced from two lanes to one
from
7:30 PM to 1:00 AM. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when
traveling
through the area.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and
Android
devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts
accessible
on the 511PA website.
