PennDOT Reopens Fleecy Dale Road in Solebury Township

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) reopened Fleecy
Dale
Road yesterday, July 14, in Solebury Township, Bucks County, following the
completion of a $1.7 million project to build new retaining walls to
stabilize
and support the roadway.
Crews built a new 1,200-foot retaining wall to replace a failing wall east
of
the intersection with Fretz Mill Road and added an additional 600-foot long
retaining wall west of Fretz Mill Road.
Nimaris Construction of Bath, Northampton County, was the general
contractor on
the $1,716,563 project that was financed with 100 percent state funds.
