PennDOT Reopens Southbound and Northbound Interstate 95 Exit Ramps at Broad
Street (Exit 17) Interchange in Philadelphia

In coordination with law enforcement agencies, the Pennsylvania Department
of
Transportation (PennDOT) today reopened the Interstate 95 south and north
exit
ramps at the Broad Street/Route 611 Interchange (Exit 17) in Philadelphia.
The
ramp reopened at 1:30 PM.
As part of the security plan for the Democratic National Convention, the
southbound exit ramp was closed and opened only intermittently for access
to
the Navy Yard. The southbound exit ramp had been closed since 2:00 PM
Thursday,
July 28.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.
