Phoenixville School District to Close Route 29 (State Road) in Schuylkill
Township, Chester County for Utility Installation

The Phoenixville School District is scheduled to close Route 29 (State
Road)
between Pothouse Road and Campbell Lane in Schuylkill Township, Chester
County,
on Monday, July 18, through Friday, August 26, for utility installation,
the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
During the closure, motorists traveling north on Route 29 (State Road) will
be
detoured over Pothouse Road, White Horse Road and Route 23 (Valley Forge
Road).
Motorists traveling south on Route 29 (State Road) will be detoured over
Route
23 (Nutt Road), Bridge Street and Pothouse Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
The
work schedule is contingent on the weather.
The Phoenixville School District will complete the work under a PennDOT
Highway
Occupancy Permit.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
