Travel Restrictions in Philadelphia for Bridge Inspections

Travel restrictions are scheduled in Philadelphia for bridge inspections,
the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
Weather permitting, the work schedule is:
• On Sunday, July 31, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the right lane will be
closed on
Interstate 95 north between Exit 13 (I-76 west/Route 291) and Exit 17
(Broad
Street/Route 611);
• On Tuesday, August 2, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, the two left lane will be
closed on I-95 south between Exit 22 (I-676) and Exit 20 (Columbus
Boulevard);
• On Tuesday, August 2, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the two left lane will be
closed on I-95 north at Exit 20 (Columbus Boulevard);
• On Wednesday, August 3, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, one lane will be closed
on
the Market Street ramp to I-95 south;
• On Wednesday, August 3, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed
on
the Columbus Boulevard ramp to I-95 north; and
• On Saturday, August 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed
on
I-95 north between Bartram Avenue and Island Avenue.
The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least
once
every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and overall condition of
the
structures.

visiting

traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.
