I-76 East Lane Closure Thursday for Drain Cleaning in Montgomery County

Interstate 76 will be reduced from two lanes to one between the
Conshohocken
(Exit 331B) and U.S. 1 (Exit 339) interchanges in Lower Merion Township,
Montgomery County, on Thursday, August 11 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for
cleaning
storm drains, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today
announced.
I-76 motorists are advised to allow more time when traveling east through
the
work area or take an alternative route because slowdowns will occur.
The eastbound right shoulder on I-76 east will be closed between U.S. 202
and
U.S. 1 on Monday, August 8 and Tuesday, August 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
for
sweeping. This is a moving operation. The westbound shoulder will be
closed on
Wednesday, August 10 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for sweeping.
This work will be performed by PennDOT Montgomery County maintenance
employees.
