in Sadsbury Township, Chester County

8/30/2016-KING OF PRUSSIA

Lane restrictions are scheduled on Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway)
between
Octorara Road and Old Wilmington Road in Sadsbury Township, Chester County,

beginning Wednesday, September 7, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, for pedestrian
safety improvements, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
(PennDOT)
said today. The weekday lane restrictions on Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln
Highway) will be in effect through the end of October.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through this work

The work is part of a $741,000 safety enhancement project to improve
pedestrian
mobility and safety by installing sidewalks, crosswalks, curb extensions
and
bulb-outs; and constructing traffic calming measures such as planted
islands
and trees.

The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of October.

Marino Corporation of Skippack, Montgomery County, is the general
contractor on
the project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
