PennDOT to Repair Several Roadways in Philadelphia and Bucks County

8/12/2016-KING OF PRUSSIA

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
repairs are scheduled next week on several roads in Philadelphia and Bucks
County over the two weeks for pavement repair.

The work scheduled is:

• On Monday, August 15, through Wednesday, August 17, from 6:00 AM to 5:00
PM,
Richlieu Road will be restricted between Route 132 (Street Road) and
Bristol Road in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, for base repair. Traffic
will
be controlled by flagging;
• On Tuesday, August 16, and Tuesday, August 23, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM,
the
eastbound Interstate 76 off ramp to 30th Street and the westbound
Interstate
676 ramp to 30th Street will be closed and detoured for deck repairs.
Eastbound
I-76 and westbound I-676 motorists will take I-76 west to Girard Avenue to
I-76
east to South Street, to 33rd Street, to Market Street to 30th Street;
• On Thursday, August 18, and Friday, August 19, from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM,
Neshaminy Street in Penndel Borough, Bucks County, will be closed between
Business Route 1 and Route 513 (Bellevue Avenue) for base repair. Motorists

will be detoured over Business Route 1 and Route 513 (Bellevue Avenue); and
• On Saturday, August 20, and Saturday, August 27, from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
the
two right lanes will be closed on U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) between
Broad
Street (Route 611) and Wissahickon Avenue for bridge joint repair.

The work will be perform by PennDOT maintenance.

traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and

to more than 770 traffic cameras.
