Aqua Pennsylvania to Close Bishop Hollow Road Weekdays in Delaware County
for Water Main Installation

Aqua Pennsylvania is scheduled to close Bishop Hollow Road between Smedley
Lane
and Ellis Avenue in Newtown Township, Delaware County, starting Wednesday,
September 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for water main replacement, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced. The
weekday closure of Bishop Hollow Road will be in effect through late
November.
During construction, Bishop Hollow Road through traffic will be detoured
over
Providence Road, Route 252 (Palmers Mill Road/Newtown Street Road) and
Route 3
(West Chester Pike). Motorists are advised to allow extra time when
traveling
through the area.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy
Permit.
