PennDOT Alert: Media, Nether Providence, Upper Providence restrictions

Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Two State Highways in Delaware County for Water Main Improvements
 
King of Prussia - Aqua Pennsylvania is planning weekday travel restrictions on Baltimore Pike and Manchester Avenue in Delaware County, for water main installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

Weather permitting, the work schedule is:
 
  • Wednesday, November 2, through Friday, November 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on Baltimore Pike between Edgmont Street and Radnor Street in Media Borough. Traffic will be controlled by flagging; and
  • Monday, November 14, through Friday, December 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Manchester Avenue is scheduled to close between Radnor Street and Wallingford Avenue in Nether Providence and Upper Providence townships, and Media Borough. During this weekday closure, Manchester Avenue motorists will be detoured over Baltimore Pike, Route 252 (Providence Road) and Brookhaven Road and Rose Valley Road.
 
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these areas.
 
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
