Travel Restrictions in Philadelphia and Montgomery County for Bridge
Inspections

Travel restrictions are scheduled on several state highways in Philadelphia
and
Montgomery County for bridge inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

Weather permitting, the work schedule is:

• On Monday, October 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane will be
closed
on northbound Park Road between Green Lane Road and Route 29 (Gravel Pike)
in
Green Lane Borough, Montgomery County;
• On Tuesday, November 1, and Wednesday, November 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
the right lane will be closed on northbound Route 100 (Pottstown Pike)
between
U.S. 422 (Pottstown Bypass) and Keystone Boulevard in Pottstown Borough,
Montgomery County;
• On Tuesday, November 1, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 1:00 PM to 3:00
PM,
the right lane will be closed on Interstate 95 south between Route 291
(Gov.
Printz Boulevard) and Route 420 (Wanamaker Avenue) in Philadelphia;
• On Tuesday, November 1, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the right lane will be
closed on I-95 north between the Philadelphia International Airport and
Route
291 (Penrose Avenue) in Philadelphia; and
• On Wednesday, November 2, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the right lane will
be
closed on the Route 291 (Penrose Avenue)ramp to I-95 south in Philadelphia.

The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least
once
every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and overall condition of
the
structures.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.

devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts
accessible
on the 511PA website.
