Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways in
Chester and Montgomery Counties for Maintenance Operations

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in
Chester and Montgomery counties, for various maintenance operations.
The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:
•Monday, October 31, and Tuesday, November 1, from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on the U.S. 422 East ramp to the Stowe
Interchange
in West Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County; for paving;
•Monday, October 31, through Thursday, November 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
intermittent lane restrictions are scheduled on northbound and southbound
U.S.
202 between Britons Bridge Road and Upper Gulph Road in Thornbury,
Westtown,
West Goshen, West Whiteland, East Whiteland and Tredyffrin townships,
Chester
County, for debris pickup;
•Monday, October 31, Thursday, November 3, and Friday, November 4, from
9:00 AM
to 3:00 PM, intermittent right lane closures are scheduled on westbound
U.S.
422 between the Route 363 (Trooper Road) and Oaks/Audubon interchanges in
Lower
Providence and West Norriton townships, Montgomery County, for sweeping and
debris pickup;
•Monday, October 31, Thursday, November 3, and Friday, November 4, from
9:00 AM
to 3:00 PM, intermittent lane restrictions are scheduled on northbound and
southbound Route 309 between Cheltenham Avenue and Route 63 (Welsh Road) in
Cheltenham, Springfield, Upper Dublin and Lower Gwynedd townships,
Montgomery
County, for sweeping and debris pickup;
•Monday, October 31, through Friday, November 4, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM,
St.
Peters Road is scheduled to close between Temple Road and Coldsprings Road
in
North Coventry Township, Chester County, for base repair. During this
weekday
closure, St. Peters Road motorists will be detoured over Harmonyville Road,
Laurelwood Road and Temple Road; and
•Thursday, November 3, through Saturday, November 5, from 7:00 PM to 4:00
AM,
lane restrictions are scheduled on northbound and southbound U.S. 202
(DeKalb
Pike) between Tournament Drive and Township Line Road in Whitpain Township,
Montgomery County, for paving.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work
zones.
