I-676 West Ramp to I-76 East to Close for Bridge Inspection

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced the
Interstate 676 West ramp to Interstate 76 East in Philadelphia will be
closed
and detoured on Saturday, December 10; Sunday, December 11; Saturday,
December
17, and Sunday, December 18, from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, for a bridge
inspection.
During the operation, motorists will take I-76 to Montgomery Drive and
follow
to the ramp for I-76 East. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when
traveling through the area.
The work is weather-dependent. The inspections are part of PennDOT's
program to
inspect bridges at least once every two years. The inspections ensure the
safety and overall condition of the structures.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.
