Due to the timing of the system and the cold temperatures expected over the weekend, the system is anticipated to impact the morning commute on Monday, December 12th, 2016.  Here are the details: Chester County Forecasted Conditions: • Anticipated Timing: Sunday, 12/11/16 and Monday, 12/12/16 • Duration: 1 day • Precipitation: a mix of snow, freezing rain, and sleet • Active watches & warnings: None at this time Impacts: • Hazardous road conditions are possible for the Monday morning commute.   Recommended Preparedness Actions: • Be alert for changing road conditions during travel on Monday morning. • Follow the NWS and local weather forecasts throughout the weekend for the latest changes, updates, and information. DES Actions: • We will continue to monitor this event and provide additional information as it becomes available. • The EOC is currently not expected to be activated for this event.
