 Attached is the latest briefing for the upcoming wintry  precipitation tonight through Saturday. 
 Key Updates: 
 ·          Slightly lower snow amounts expected, with  slightly higher ice amounts. ·           Added expected rainfall Sunday and cold  temperatures Sunday night. With cold temperatures expected Sunday night, any  water remaining on untreated roadways and sidewalks will freeze. Chester County Forecasted Conditions: 
 ·          Anticipated Timing: Late tonight into Sunday  night, 12/18/2016. ·          Precipitation: Chester County could receive up  to 2 inches of snow Friday night into Saturday. ·          Ice accumulations of .06 inches are possible  countywide. Freezing rain expected Saturday morning into Saturday afternoon, a  light coating of ice is expected, especially on elevated surfaces. ·          Active watches & warnings:  Ø   Eastern Chester County: Winter Weather Advisory  will go into effort at 10 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Saturday.   Ø   Western Chester County: Winter Weather Advisory  will go into effort at 10PM this evening to 2PM EST Saturday. Impacts: 
 ·          Hazardous travel conditions are possible late  tonight through Saturday with snow, sleet and freezing rain. ·          Cold temperatures are expected  tonight and  again on Sunday night.  ·          Pets should not be left outside.  ·          Pipes are also susceptible to freezing due to  the prolonged period with temperatures below freezing.
