NWS Weather Briefing

Attached is the latest weather briefing from the US National Weather Service in Mount Holly, NJ regarding winter weather forecasted for this morning and Saturday.

Key Updates: The snow accumulation overnight was lower than forecasted and should end before daybreak. The Winter Weather Advisory for Chester County has been canceled. The larger back end of the storm is expected to impact the region Saturday, although the likely impacts for Chester County are minimal. The possibility remains for up to 4 inches of snow if the storm tracks further north so it is recommended to monitor its path and the latest forecasts.

Chester County Forecasted Conditions:
• Anticipated Timing: Saturday 01/07/2017
• Overnight temperatures into the teens Friday night into Saturday 1/7/2017
• Precipitation: Areas along the Delaware County border could see less than 1", no accumulation is expected for the rest of Chester County
• Active watches & warnings: The previous Winter Weather Advisory has been canceled


Impacts:
• Snow will make the Friday morning commute hazardous
