Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Township Line Road Weekdays for Water Main
Replacement in Jenkintown Borough

Aqua Pennsylvania is scheduled to close Township Line Road weekdays between
Greenwood Avenue and Washington Lane in Jenkintown Borough, Montgomery
County,
starting Tuesday, February 28, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for water main
installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today
announced. The weekday closure of Township Line Road will be in effect
through
the end of May.
During construction, Township Line Road through traffic will be detoured
over
Greenwood Avenue, Church Road and Washington Lane.
In addition to the closure, Aqua Pennsylvania will restrict traffic
weekdays
from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Township Line Road between Washington Lane and
Route
611 (Old York Road) beginning Tuesday, February 28, through the end of May.
Traffic will be controlled by flagging.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work
areas.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy
Permit.
