Flood Advisory

Flood Advisory until 845 PM. Be prepared to take action in the event that flooding develops.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ  has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
northern New Castle County in northern Delaware...
northwestern Salem County in southern New Jersey...
northwestern Camden County in southern New Jersey...
northwestern Gloucester County in southern New Jersey...
northwestern Burlington County in southern New Jersey...
Berks County in eastern Pennsylvania...
Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
Lehigh County in eastern Pennsylvania...
Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
Chester County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
Delaware County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* until 845 PM EDT

* at 448 PM EDT... Doppler radar, spotter reports and automated rain
gauges indicated that up to one and one-half inches of rain have
fallen since midnight across portions of the advised area. Minor
flooding will occur across low lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional rainfall is expected across the area through the rush
hour and into this evening. This additional rain will continue to
produce minor flooding.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Philadelphia, Allentown, reading, Camden, Wilmington, West Chester,
Gloucester City, Bethlehem, Bensalem, Norristown, Chester,
Willingboro, Pottstown, West Deptford, Phoenixville, Lansdale, West
Norriton, East Norriton, Pennsville and Coatesville.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated... or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
