Travel Restrictions Scheduled on Three State Highways for Maintenance
Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on three state highways in
Delaware, Chester and Philadelphia counties, for maintenance operations,
the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, April 17, through Thursday, April 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions are scheduled on northbound Interstate 476 between Route 3
(West
Chester Pike) and U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Marple, Haverford and
Marple
townships, Delaware County, for crack sealing;
• Monday, April 17, through Friday, April 21, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on Route 340 (Kings Highway) between Route 82
(Manor
Road) and Route 10 (Octorara Trail) in West Caln and West Brandywine
townships,
Chester County, for base repair; and
• Tuesday, April 18, through Thursday, April 20, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM,
the
ramp from Columbus Boulevard at Lombard Circle to northbound Interstate 95
is
scheduled to close in Philadelphia, for deck repair. Columbus Boulevard
motorists will be detoured over Washington Avenue or Race Street to reach
northbound I-95.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
