Bristol Road to Close Weekdays for Roadway Base Repairs in Bucks County

Bristol Road will be closed and detoured between Route 532 (Buck Road) and
Route 232 (2nd Street Pike) in Northampton, Lower Southampton and Upper
Southampton townships, Bucks County, starting Tuesday, May 16, from 9:00 AM
to
6:00 PM, for roadway base repairs, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. The weekday closure will be in
effect
through the Thursday, May 25.
During construction, Bristol Road motorists will be detoured over Route 532
(Buck Road), Bustleton Pike, Route 132 (Street Road), and Route 232 (2nd
Street
Pike). Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.
Emergency
vehicles and buses will have access through the work zone. This road repair
operation is being done in advance of future resurfacing.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through this area.
The
work schedule is dependent on the weather.
