Daytime and Nighttime Road Closures Scheduled Next Week in Montgomery
County for Maintenance Operations

5/10/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today
that
daytime and nighttime road closures are scheduled next week in Montgomery
County for roadway base repair and drainage pipe repair.

The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:

• Monday, May 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Audubon Road is scheduled to
close
between Route 363 (Trooper Road) and Pawlings Road in Lower Providence
Township, for drainage pipe repair. During this one-day closure, Audubon
Road
motorists will be directed to use Route 363 (Trooper Road), Egypt Road and
Pawlings Road;
• Monday, May 15, and Tuesday, May 16, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Jenkintown
Road
is scheduled to close between Forrest Avenue and Meetinghouse Road in
Abington
Township, for roadway base repair. During this two-day closure, Jenkintown
Road
motorists will be directed to use Forrest Avenue, Route 73 (Township Line
Road), and Meetinghouse Road; and
• Wednesday, May 17, and Thursday, May 18, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Cedar
Road
is scheduled to close between Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike) and Route 73
(Township Line Road) in Abington Township, for roadway base repair. During
this
two-day closure, Cedar Road motorists will be directed to use Route 232
(Huntingdon Pike), Church Road, and Route 73 (Township Line Road).

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Drivers are
advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work areas. The
schedule is weather dependent.
