Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for
Maintenance Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in
the
Philadelphia region, including Interstate 476 in Delaware County and
Interstate
95 in Philadelphia, for maintenance and sign structure operations, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Tuesday, May 30, through Friday, June 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on southbound I-476 between the
Montgomery County line and the Baltimore Pike Interchange in Radnor,
Haverford
and Marple townships, Delaware County, for pothole repair;
• Wednesday, May 31, from 10:00 PM through 4:00 AM the next morning, the
right
lane is scheduled to close on southbound I-95 between the Packer Avenue and
Broad Street (Route 611) interchanges in Philadelphia, for sign structure
repairs;
• Tuesday, May 30, through Friday, June 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 162 (Embreeville
Road/Telegraph Road/Strasburg Road) between Highland Road and Star Gazer
Road
in West Bradford and Newlin townships, Chester County, for shoulder
cutting;
• Tuesday, May 30, through Friday, June 2, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 41 (Gap Newport Pike)
between
U.S. 1 and Route 10 (Limestone Road) in West Fallowfield, Londonberry and
London Grove townships, Chester County, for milling;
• Tuesday, May 30, and Wednesday, May 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Goshen Road between Sugartown
Road
and the Delaware County line in Willistown Township, Chester County, for
base
repair; and
• Thusday, June 1, through Friday, June 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 926 (Street Road) between
Westtown Road and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Westtown and Willistown
townships, Chester County, for base repair.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
