PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Improvements in
Philadelphia Region

PECO Energy is planning travel restrictions on several state highways in
the
Philadelphia region, for utility improvements, the Pennsylvania Department
of
Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
Weather permitting, the work schedule is:
• Monday, June 12, through Friday, July 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on Hollow Road between Route 23 (Conshohocken
State
Road) and Hagys Ford Road in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, June 12, and Tuesday, June 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 113 (Harleysville Pike)
between Park Avenue and Gruber Road in Lower Salford Township, Montgomery
County;
• Monday, June 12, and Tuesday, June 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Orvilla Road between Leas Way
and
Maple Avenue in Hatfield Township, Montgomery County;
• Tuesday, June 13, and Wednesday, June 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Township Line Road between
Spring
Lake Road and Ridge Pie in Limerick Township, Montgomery County;
• Wednesday, June 14, through Wednesday, June 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
weekday lane restrictions are scheduled on Yellow Springs Road between Rose
Cottage Lane and Welsh Valley Drive in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County;
• Friday, June 16, through Monday, June 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Whitehall Road between Bean
Road
and Skippack Road in Worcester Township, Montgomery County;
• Friday, June 16, through Monday, June 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Main Street between Red Rock
Circle
and Aspen Drive in Limerick Township, Montgomery County; and
• Monday, June 19, through Monday, June 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
weekday
lane restrictions are scheduled on U.S. 13 (Chester Pike) between Lawrence
Avenue and MacDade Boulevard in Collingdale Borough, Delaware County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work
areas.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy
Permit.
