Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Three State Highways for Tree
Removal Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on three state highways in the
Philadelphia region for tree removal operations, the Pennsylvania
Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Thursday, July 6, and Friday, July 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 32 (River Road) between
Taylorsville Road and Aquetong Road in Upper Makefield Township, Bucks
County;
• Thursday, July 6, and Friday, July 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 162 (Embreeville Road)
between Stargazer Road and Cannery Road in Newlin Township, Chester County;
and
• Thursday, July 6, and Friday, July 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the left
lane
is scheduled to close on southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) between
Holme
Avenue and Rhawn Street in Philadelphia.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
