Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for
Maintenance Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in
the
Philadelphia region for maintenance operations, the Pennsylvania Department
of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Sunday, June 11, through Thursday, June 15, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM,
Blair
Mill Road is scheduled to close between County Line Road and Route 611
(Easton
Road) in Horsham and Upper Moreland townships, Montgomery County, for base
repairs. During construction, Blair Mill Road motorists will be detoured
over
Mill Road, Route 611 (Easton Road), Route 263 (York Road), and County Line
Road;
• Monday, June 12, and Tuesday, June 13, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Ship Road between Constitution
Drive and Cockerham Lane in West Whiteland Township, Chester County, for
patching;
• Monday, June 12, through Thursday, June 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the
right lane is scheduled to close on southbound Route 100 between King
Street
and U.S. 422 in Pottstown Borough and Upper Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery
County, for shoulder stabilization;
• Monday, June 12, through Friday, June 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on southbound Interstate 476
between
the Montgomerty County line and Baltimore Pike in Radnor, Marple, Haverford
and
Springfield townships, Delaware County, for patching;
• Monday, June 12, through Friday, June 16, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 41 (Gap Newport Pike)
between
Route 841 (Coatesville Road) and Route 10 (Limestone Road) in Londonberry
and
West Fallowfield townships, Chester County, for milling; and
• Wednesday, June 14, and Thursday, June 15, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Blair
Mill Road is scheduled to close between Route 63 (Welsh Road) and Route 611
(Easton Road) in Horsham and Upper Moreland townships, Montgomery County,
for
base repairs. During construction, Blair Mill Road motorists will be
detoured
over Fitzwatertown Road, Route 611 (Easton Road), and Route 63 (Welsh
Road).
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
