Improvements in Upper Darby Township, Delaware County

8/24/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

Aqua Pennsylvania is scheduled to close Oak Avenue and Garrett Road
weekdays in
Upper Darby Township, Delaware County, on Monday, September 11, through
mid-November, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for water main extension, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Oak Avenue is scheduled to close between Baltimore Pike and Providence
Road.
During construction, Oak Avenue motorists will be detoured over Baltimore
Pike,
Bishop Avenue and Providence Road; and
• Garrett Road is scheduled to close between Lansdowne Avenue and Route 3
(West
Chester Pike). During construction, Garrett Road motorists will be detoured

over Lansdowne Avenue, State Road, Route 3 (West Chester Pike), Bywood
Avenue
and Fairfield Avenue.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zones. Motorists are

advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because
slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities are
weather
