Maintenance Operations in the Philadelphia Region

9/1/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in
the
Philadelphia region for maintenance operations, the Pennsylvania Department
of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Tuesday, September 5, through Friday, September 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on Interstate 476 between County
Line
Road and Interstate 95 in Marple, Springfield, Haverford, Radnor and Ridley

townships, and Swarthmore Borough, Delaware County, for debris removal;
• Wednesday, September 6, and Thursday, September 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
lane closures are scheduled on U.S. 422 West from just west of the Sanatoga

Interchange to the Armand Hammer Boulevard Interchange in Lower Pottsgrove
Township, Montgomery County, for base repair; and
• Saturday, September 9, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Rock Raymond Road will be

closed between Hilltop Road and Downing Forge Way in Caln and East
Brandywine
townships, Chester County, for base repair. During construction, Rock
Raymond
Road motorists will be detoured over U.S. 322 and Hopewell Road. Local
access
will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.
