I-95 Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week for Resurfacing Operations
in Philadelphia

Intermittent single and double lane closures are scheduled on northbound
and
southbound Interstate 95 between Allegheny Avenue and Bridge Street in
Philadelphia on Monday, October 16, through Thursday, October 19, from 8:00
PM
to 5:00 AM, for resurfacing operations, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
In addition, on Thursday, October 19, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, intermittent
lanes closures are scheduled on the ramp from southbound I-95 to Aramingo
Avenue/Betsy Ross Bridge for line striping.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 through the
work
areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
The work is part of the $160.2 million project to rebuild ramps and improve
connections between I-95, the Betsy Ross Bridge and Aramingo Avenue.
