Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for
Maintenance Operations in Montgomery and Bucks Counties

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways for
base
repair, concrete patching and guide rail repair operations in Montgomery
and
Bucks counties, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Sunday, October 15, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Linfield Trappe Road will be
closed and detoured between Township Line Road and Lewis Road in Limerick
Township, Montgomery County for base repair. During the overnight closure,
motorists will be directed to use Lewis Road, U.S. 422 and Township Line
Road;
• Monday, October 16, and Tuesday, October 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
right
lane closures are scheduled on westbound U.S. 422 between Township Line
Road
and Lewis Road in Limerick Township, Montgomery County for concrete
patching;
• Monday, October 16, and Tuesday, October 17, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM,
Eagleville Road will be closed and detoured between Ridge Pike and South
Park
Avenue in Lower Providence Township, Montgomery County for base repair.
During
construction, motorists will be directed to use Ridge Pike and South Park
Avenue;
• Monday, October 16, through Wednesday, October 18, from 10:00 AM to 2:00
PM,
a single lane closure is scheduled on northbound Interstate 95 between the
Woodhaven Road (Route 63) and Yardley/New Hope interchanges in Bensalem,
Middletown and Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County for guide rail
repair;
• Wednesday, October 18, and Thursday, October 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
left lane closures are scheduled on eastbound U.S. 422 between Egypt Road
and
Route 363 (Trooper Road) in Lower Providence Township, Montgomery County
for
concrete patching;
• Wednesday, October 18, and Thursday, October 19, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM,
Route 29 (Gravel Pike) will be closed and detoured between Route 73
(Skippack
Pike) and Bridge Road in Perkiomen Township, Montgomery County for base
repair.
During construction, motorists will be directed to use Route 73 (Skippack
Pike)
and Bridge Road; and
• Thursday, October 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a single lane closure is
scheduled on northbound U.S. 202 between Ash Mill Road and Route 263 (York
Road) in Buckingham Township, Bucks County for guide rail repair.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.
