PECO Planning Travel Restrictions on Several State Highways for Utility
Improvements in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties

PECO is planning weekday travel restrictions on several state highways next
week in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties, for gas main
installations,
the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, November 20, and Tuesday, November 21, and Monday, November 27,
through Friday, December 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Walnut Avenue and Bridge
Avenue
in Easttown Township, Chester County;
• Monday, November 20, and Tuesday, November 21, and Monday, November 27,
through late December, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled
on Lenni Road between Sickles Drive and Mill Ridge Road in Aston Township,
Delaware County;
• Monday, November 20, and Tuesday, November 21, and Monday, November 27,
through early January, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled
on Pleasantview Road between Donna Lane and Bleim Road in Lower Pottsgrove
Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, November 20, and Tuesday, November 21, and Monday, November 27,
through early January from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled
on Bleim Road between Pleasantview Road and Spring Valley Road in Lower
Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, November 20, through Wednesday November 22, and Monday, November
27,
through late December, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled
on Sawmill Road between Route 252 (Newtown Street Road) and Roberts Road in
Newtown Township, Delaware County; and
• Monday, November 27, through late December, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
Newtown
Road is scheduled to close between Sugartown Road and Waterloo Road in
Easttown
Township, Chester County. During construction Newtown Road motorists will
be
detoured over Waterloo Avenue, Church Road and Sugartown Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
