Route 100, Route 309 and I-476 Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for
Bridge Inspections in Montgomery County

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week for bridge inspections on Route

100, Route 309, and Interstate 476 in Montgomery County, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Tuesday, November 7, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, a right lane closure is
scheduled on northbound Route 100 at the Farmington Avenue Interchange in
Upper
Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County;
• Tuesday, November 7, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is
scheduled on southbound Route 100 at the Farmington Avenue Interchange in
Upper
Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County;
• Wednesday, November 8, from 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM, a right lane closue is
scheduled on soutbound Interstate 476 between the Ridge Pike and Interstate
76
interchanges in West Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County;
• Wednesday, November 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is
scheduled on northbound Route 309 over Route 73 (Church Road) between the
Paper
Mill Road and Fort Washington/Pennsylvania Turnpike interchanges in
Whitemarsh
Township, Montgomery County;
• Thursday, November 9, from 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM, a right lane closure is
scheduled on northbound I-476 between the I-76 and Ridge Pike interchanges
in
West Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County; and
• Thursday, November 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is
scheduled on northbound Route 309 over Route 73 (Church Road) between the
Paper
Mill Road and Fort Washington/Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276) interchanges in

Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur. The schedules are dependent on the weather.

The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least
once
every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and overall condition of
the
structures.
