U.S. 1 Lane Closure Scheduled Next Two Saturdays for Bridge Inspection in
Philadelphia

Travel restrictions are scheduled on U.S. 1 in Philadelphia for a bridge
inspection of the bridge carrying Fox Street over the highway, the
Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Saturday, November 11, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the right lane is
scheduled
to close on northbound U.S. 1 between Henry Avenue and Wissahickon Avenue;
and
• Saturday, November 18, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the right lane is
scheduled
to close on southbound U.S. 1 between Henry Avenue and Wissahickon Avenue.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
area.
The schedule is dependent on the weather.
