U.S. 1, Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) and I-95 Lane Closures Next Week for ITS
Testing in Philadelphia and Bucks County

Motorists will encounter daytime and nighttime lane closures next week on
U.S.
1 (Roosevelt Boulevard), Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) and Interstate 95 in
Philadelphia and Bucks counties, for Intelligent Transportation System
(ITS)
testing, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced
today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, February 26, through Friday, March 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a
single lane closure is scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 (Roosevelt
Boulevard) between Comly Road and Old Trevose Road in Philadelphia and
Bensalem
Township, Bucks County;
• Monday, February 26, through Friday, March 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a
single lane closure is scheduled on eastbound Route 63 (Woodhaven Road)
between
the U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) and Knights Road interchanges in Philadelphia
and
Bensalem Township, Bucks County; and
• Tuesday, February 27, and Wednesday, February 28, from 9:00 PM to 5:00
AM, a
single lane closure is scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the
Allegheny and Bridge Street/Harbison Avenue interchanges.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on these highways
through the work zones because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled
activities
are weather dependent.
