Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for Sign
Maintenance in Montgomery, Chester and Philadelphia Counties

Lane closures are scheduled next week on several state highways in
Montgomery,
Chester and Philadelphia counties for large sign structure maintenance, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, April 2, through Friday, April 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
closures are scheduled on Route 363 (Trooper Road) between U.S. 422 and
Audubon
Road in West Norriton Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, April 2, through Friday, April 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
closures are scheduled on U.S. 202 between Old Eagle School Road and Route
252
(Valley Forge Road) in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County; and
• Monday, April 2, through Friday, April 6, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the
following morning, temporary lane closures are scheduled on northbound
Interstate 95 at the Aramingo Avenue/Betsy Ross Bridge Interchange in
Philadelphia.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Under this improvement project, PennDOT is replacing and repairing large
sign
structures, including overhead signs throughout Bucks, Chester, Delaware,
Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
Work on the entire project is expected to be completed in August 2019.
J. D. Eckman, Inc., of Atglen, Chester County is the general contractor on
the
$2,796,024 project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
