Road Closures Scheduled on Several State Highways for Maintenance
Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled on several state highways in Delaware,
Montgomery and Chester counties next week, for maintenance operations, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, April 30, through Wednesday, April 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
Rose
Valley Road is scheduled to close between Route 252 (Providence Road) and
Brookhaven Road in Nether Providence Township, Delaware County, for storm
pipe
replacement. During the closure, Rose Valley Road motorists will be
detoured
over Providence Road and Brookhaven Road;
• Monday, April 30, through Wednesday, May 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
Route
663 (Layfield Road) is scheduled to close between Route 73 (Big Road) and
Kutztown Road in New Hanover and Upper Hanover townships, Montgomery
County,
for base repair. During the closure, Layfield Road motorists will be
detoured
over Route 73 (Big Road), Route 100 (Main Street) and Kutztown Road;
• Wednesday, May 2, and Thursday, May 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Sugartown
Road is scheduled to close between Fairway Road and Berwyn Paoli Road in
Easttown Township, Chester County, for pipe replacement. During the
closure,
Sugartown Road motorists will be detoured over Route 252 (Leopard Road),
U.S.
30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Waterloo Road;
• Wednesday, May 2, through Friday, May 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Route
73
(Big Road) is scheduled to close between Route 663 (Layfield Road) and
Hoffmansville Road in New Hanover Township, Montgomery County, for base
repair.
During the closure, Route 73 (Big Road) motorists will be detoured over
Route
663 (Layfield Road) and Hoffmansville Road; and
• Friday, May 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Keim Street is scheduled to close
between Buchert Road and Route 663 (Charlotte Street) in Pottsgrove
Township,
Montgomery County, for base repair. During the closure, Keim Street
motorists
will be detoured over Route 663 (Charlotte Street), Mervine Street, North
Washington Street and Buchert Road.
