Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility
Improvements in Delaware County

Aqua Pennsylvania is planning weekday travel restrictions on three state
highways in Delaware County for water main improvements, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, May 21, through Friday, May 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 452 (Pennell Road) at the

intersection with Lenni Road in Middletown Township;

• Monday, May 21, through early June, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Rose Valley Road at the
intersections with West Country Club Road, East Country Club Road and
Springhaven Road in Nether Providence Township; and

• Wednesday, June 6, through mid-July, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Springfield

Road is scheduled to close weekdays between Old Marple Road and U.S. 1
(State
Road) in Springfield Township. During the weekday closure, motorists will
be
directed to use Old Marple Road, Route 320 (Sproul Road) and U.S. 1 (State
Road).

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are
advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work areas. All
scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway
Occupancy Permit.
