I-95, U.S. 30, U.S. 1 Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Guide
Rail Repair in Delaware, Chester and Bucks Counties

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on Interstate 95, U.S. 30 and
U.S.
1 (Media Bypass) in Delaware, Chester and Bucks counties for guide rail
repairs
the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Sunday, May 6, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a left
lane
closure is scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the Commodore Barry

Bridge and Interstate 476 interchanges in the City of Chester, Delaware
County;
• Monday, May 7, through Wednesday, May 9, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
temporary
lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 30 between the Route
10
(Octorara Trail) and Route 82 (Manor Road) interchanges in Sadsbury, West
Caln,
Valley and City of Coatesville, Chester County;
• Monday, May 7, through Thursday, May 10, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the
following morning, lane closures are scheduled on northbound I-95 between
the
Bristol and Yardley/Newtown interchanges in Bristol, Middletown, and Lower
Makefield townships, Bucks County; and
• Tuesday, May 8, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a left
lane
closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 (Media Bypass) between the
Baltimore
Pike and I-476 interchanges in Upper Providence and Middletown townships,
Delaware County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather
dependent.
