Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in
Chester and Montgomery Counties

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways for
tree
removal operations in Chester and Montgomery counties, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, May 21 through Wednesday, May 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 472 (Hickory Hill Road)
between Elk Creek Road and Media Road in East Nottingham Township, Chester
County;
• Tuesday, May 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled
on
Route 663 (King Street/Charlotte Street/Layfield Road/Pottstown Avenue)
between
Manatawny Street and Geryville Pike in Upper Pottsgrove, Lower Pottsgrove,
Douglass, New Hanover and Upper Hanover townships and Pottstown Borough,
Montgomery County;
• Tuesday, May 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled
on
Stenton Avenue at Wissahickon Avenue in Springfield Township, Montgomery
County;
• Tuesday, May 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled
on
Flourtown Road between Joshua Road and Stenton Avenue in Whitemarsh
Township,
Montgomery County;
• Thursday, May 24, and Friday, May 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 82 (Manor Road) between
Union
Road and Beaver Creek Road in West Brandywine Township, Chester County;
• Friday, May 25, and Saturday, May 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Neiffer Road between Route 73
(Big
Road) and Ridge Pike in Upper Frederick and Limerick townships, Montgomery
County; and
• Saturday, May 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on Elm Street at Fayette Street in Conshohocken Borough,
Montgomery County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.
