Travel Restrictions Scheduled on Several State Highways Next Week for
Maintenance Operations in Montgomery County

Travel restrictions are scheduled on several state highways next week for
maintenance operations in Montgomery County, the Pennsylvania Department of

Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, May 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Keim Street is scheduled to
close
between Buchert Road and Route 663 (Charlotte Street) in Pottsgrove
Township,
Montgomery County, for base repair. During the closure, Keim Street
motorists
will be detoured over Route 663 (Charlotte Street), Mervine Street, North
Washington Street and Buchert Road;
• Tuesday, May 15, and Wednesday, May 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Neiffer
Road
is scheduled to close between Route 73 (Big Road) and Game Farm Road in
Upper
Frederick, Lower Frederick and Limerick townships, Montgomery County, for
base
repair. During the closure, Neiffer Road motorists will be detoured over
Route
73 (Big Road), Route 29 (Gravel Pike) and Game Farm Road;
• Wednesday, May 16, and Thursday, May 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Black
Rock
Road is scheduled to close between Hollow Road and Green Tree Road in Upper

Providence Township, Montgomery County for base repair. During the closure,

Black Rock Road motorists will be detoured over Hollow Road, Egypt Road and

Green Tree Road;
• Thursday, May 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Flinthill Road is scheduled to

close between Route 320 (Swedeland Road) and Jefferson Street in Upper
Merion
Township, Montgomery County, for base repair. During the closure, Flint
Hill
Road motorists will be detoured over Route 320 (Swedeland Road), Route 23
(Schuylkill River Road), Coates Street and Union Avenue; and
• Friday, May 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Upper Gulph Road is scheduled to

close between Route 320 (Montgomery Avenue) and County Line Road in Upper
Merion Township, Montgomery County, for base repair. During the closure,
Upper
Gulph Road motorists will be detoured over Route 320 (Montgomery Avenue),
Matsonford Road and County Line Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
