Matsonford Road Weekday Lane Restriction Scheduled Next Week for Storm Sewer Replacement in Montgomery County
King of Prussia, PA – A weekday lane restriction is scheduled on Matsonford Road between Rebel Hill Road and Dehaven Avenue in Upper Merion Township and West Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County, on Monday, July 30, through Friday, August 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for storm sewer replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zone because slowdowns will occur during construction. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.
This is additional work on a project to repair and resurface more than 13 miles of state highway in Montgomery County. The project also included the construction of ADA curb ramps, utility adjustments and other miscellaneous roadway maintenance.
Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on the $6,175,308 project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds from Act 89, Pennsylvania's Transportation Plan.
Work on the entire project is expected to be completed in the fall.
