Several Highways to be Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Bucks and Chester Counties
King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on several state highways in Bucks and Chester counties next week, for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Monday, July 23, through Wednesday, July 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on Forest Grove Road at Swamp Road in Buckingham Township, Bucks County;
- Monday, July 23, through Wednesday, July 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on Ridge Road/Street Road between Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) and Atkinson Road in Upper Makefield Township, Bucks County;
- Monday, July 23, through Wednesday, July 25, from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, on Route 842 (Unionville Wawaset Road) between Route 82 (Doe Run Road) and Marlboro Spring Road in East Marlborough and Newlin townships, Chester County;
- Thursday, July 26 and Friday, July 27, from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, on Creek Road between Route 842 (Unionville Wawaset Road) and Route 52 (Lenape Road) in Pocopson Township, Chester County;
- Thursday, July 26 and Friday, July 27, on Route 263 (Upper York Road) between Aquetong Road and Phillips Mills Road in Solebury Township, Bucks County; and
- Friday, July 27, on Dark Hollow Road at Swamp Road in Buckingham Township, Bucks County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during these tree removal operations. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
