PennDOT - District 6 News: Several State Highways to be Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming in Chester, Bucks and Delaware Counties

Several State Highways to be Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming in Chester, Bucks and Delaware Counties

King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions with flagging are planned on several state highways next week from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Chester, Bucks and Delaware counties for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:
  • Tuesday, September 4, London Tract Road between Indiantown Road and Route 896 in London Britain Township, Chester County;
  • Wednesday, September 5, Ridge Road at Old Bethlehem Road in Bedminster Township, Bucks County;
  • Wednesday, September 5, and Thursday, September 6, State Road between Old Mil Drive and Old State Road in Upper Providence Township, Delaware County;
  • Thursday, September 6, and Friday, September 7, Strickersville Road between Spring Lawn Road and Mount Olive Road in Franklin Township, Chester County; and
  • Friday, September 7, Rose Tree Road between State Road and Sandybank Road in Upper Providence, Delaware County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during these tree removal operations. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
