PennDOT - District 6 News: I-76 Among Several State Highways to Be Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Philadelphia and Bucks Counties

I-76 Among Several State Highways to Be Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Philadelphia and Bucks Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions are scheduled on several state highways in Philadelphia and Bucks counties next week, including Interstate 76, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:
  • Monday, September 24, through Wednesday, September 26, a right lane closure is scheduled on westbound I-76 between the Montgomery Drive/West River Drive and U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) interchanges in Philadelphia;
  • Monday, September 24, through Friday, September 28, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Chestnut Ridge Road between Bridgeton Hill Road and Lodi Hill Road in Bridgeton Township, Bucks County; and
  • Monday, September 24, through Friday, September 28, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Fallsington Tullytown Road between Mill Creek Road and Low Lane in Fall Township, Bucks County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during these tree removal operations. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
